The Origin of an Idea

Exotic Rent a Car was born from the vision of Juan and Daniela, who identified an opportunity to transform the vehicle rental experience in Medellín.

After traveling through different countries and experiencing firsthand impractical rental processes with poor customer service, they understood that there was a clear need: to create a company where service was as important as the vehicle being delivered.

A market ripe for transformation

At that time, Medellín had several rental companies, but few offered a truly premium experience, with personalized attention, digital processes, home delivery, and a fleet of mid-range and high-end vehicles. This is how the idea of building a company focused on comfort, trust, and excellence was born.

Six years perfecting our service

For approximately six years, we operated completely virtually, perfecting our processes and consolidating a community of clients who trusted our service and recommended us.

January 2026: Our First Physical Location

Thanks to that constant growth and the commitment of our entire team, in January 2026 we fulfilled one of our biggest dreams: opening the doors of our first physical location in Medellín to personally welcome our clients.
