To rent a vehicle in Medellín with Exotic Rent A Car you need:

• To be at least 21 (25 for premium cars; some top-end models require 28 to 30).
• An original, physical, valid driver's license. A foreign license is valid as long as you have been in Colombia for less than 6 months — the latest entry stamp in your passport is proof enough.
• A valid ID card or passport.
• A security deposit of 2,000,000 COP for mid-range cars and 2,500,000 COP for high-end models, which you can leave in cash, by bank transfer or with a credit card: the card is optional, never mandatory. The published rate covers the vehicle rental. Additional charges may apply depending on the length of the rental, trips outside Medellín, tolls, fuel and optional services such as a driver.
